Book Condition Requirements

Please read through our condition requirements before sending anything to us. Books that do not meet these requirements may be rejected during check-in and are not returned automatically.

Returning a rejected book

If a book is rejected, you have 14 days after the buyback is completed to request it back and complete the return-shipping payment from your buyback page. Return shipping is $8.00 for the first rejected book and $2.00 for each additional rejected book in the same return.

Stripe securely processes the payment. TextbookTiger sends the return label and book list to our warehouse only after Stripe confirms payment. If you decline the return or do not complete it by the deadline, the rejected books may be recycled or donated.

Unaccepted Items:

Rebound books

Excessively highlighted items

Books where pages are falling out or missing

Scratched / used access codes

Extremely worn books

Torn pages, torn cover, binding issues, torn corners.

Water damaged books

including any wavy pages, stained pages, pages stuck together.

Workbooks that have been filled out previously

Instructor edition or comp copies

Anything that says "not for resale" on it.
